Boho Indigo Meets Prized Peony
Every year I watch for my white peonies to bloom. What majestic flowers they are! For this card I paired the white peony with the Boho Indigo Medley.
Create a Night of Navy card base cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".
Die cut the peony pieces using the embossed paper in the Boho Indigo Medley. Construct the flower putting dimensionals between the pieces to create a 3-D effect.
Use the leftover embossed piece cut to 5 1/2" x 1" and die cut it using the Peony die set to create the scalloped edge.
Add the patterned paper from the Boho Indigo medley to the card front. I cut the piece 5 1/2" x 4" and behind it I added the scalloped piece before I attached it to the card front.
Add the floral center using the Peony die set. I used So Saffron cardstock.
Attach the flower to the card front.
Die cut the leaves from Night of Navy cardstock scraps. Attach them to the card front, tucking each on under the flower.
Stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. I used a sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.
Die cut it using one of the Tasteful Labels die set.
Add it to the card front using dimensionals.
