Butterfly Brilliance With Butterfly Bijou
I CASEd Lori Pinto's card and added my own twist to it.
Create a Basic White card base cut at 8 1/2″x 5 1/2".
Score at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″ and 6 1/2″.
Cut Just Jade cardstock:
--two pieces 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″
--one piece 2″ x 5 1/4″
Cut patterned paper:
--two pieces1 5/8″ x 5 1/8″
--one piece1 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Belly Band:
--Just Jade 1" x 9"
--Basic White 3/4" x 9"
Add the patterned pieces to the Just Jade cardstock pieces.
Add the completed pieces to the card base (see photo).
Adhere the belly band pieces together.
Wrap around the card and fold over at the sides leaving room for the piece to slide onto the card.
Stamp the sentiment in Just Jade ink.
Adhere the belly band together with Stampin' Seal+.
Die cut two butterflies, one from the patterned paper and one from vellum.
Glue the butterflies together by apply glue to the thorax of the vellum.
Put the belly band on the card and glue the butterfly onto the belly band.
For this card, I die cut the butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou patterned paper.
