CASEing A Card: In Bloom with True Love Paper
CASE means either copy and share everything OR copy and selectively edit. I like both definitions. Sometimes I do copy a card as it was created, but often I change it. Basically, in that case I am inspired by some aspect of a card, but want to make it my own.
This is the card I cased. It is by Mary Fish whose cards always are lovely. While mine varies quite a bit, it is easy to see the origins of my inspiration.
I used a black card base and overlaid the front with Bermuda Bay. I used a die to cut out the center.
I added it to the card front.
Then, I added the striped paper.
I die cut the flowers and leaves and added them with dimensionals.
Last I die cut the white piece for the sentiment, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and added three embellishments.
