Whale of a Time Background
When I saw a card by Lori Pinto, I knew I had to make my own version. The next photo is similar to the one she made.
These directions are for creating the backgrounds for the two cards posted. Once you have the backgrounds finished you can add what you like to finish them off.
Create a card base from Whisper White cardstock cut at 11" x 4 1/4" and scored at 5 1/2".
To the card base front add a piece of coordinating cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
On a piece of white cardstock cut at 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", add three strips of patterned paper cut at 1" x 4 1/4".
If you choose to add ribbon, be sure to attach it behind this piece prior to adding it to the card front.

Embellish the card front as you wish using coordinating elements.
