I never saw snow until I was 24 years old.Yes, I grew up on Florida's Gulf Coast so never experienced winter. When I moved here in the mountains, the first thing I did when I saw snow was build a snowman. Oh, what fun that was. Now, in old age, I still love a good snow. And maybe this year I will again erect a man of snow. The card focuses on the subtle shades of the Stampin' Up!'s Snowflake splendor patterned paper. I added the soft and subtly stamped snowman from the Snow Wonder stamp set and popped him up to give him definition.

The colors Just Jade and Pretty Peacock coordinate well with each other. With crisp white added, the colors pop.

I stamped the leaves using StazOn in and then watercolored them.

Autumn looms and Halloween won't be far behind. Sadly, it is likely there will be no trick or treating this year due to COVID-19.

Sometimes I see a card that jumps out at me and I know I need to CASE it an acronym for Copy And Share Everything. I never copy a card exactly as I see it because I want to put my own twist to it. Here I CASEd a card by Lori Pinto to copy a technique I never have used.

A simple card to celebrate the upcoming holiday season.

I discovered some small pieces of patterned paper I love even though it has been discontinued. I decided to use the daisy punch to create an accent. My little dog is peeking out to say hello. I do enjoy going back to using old favorites like the daisy paper and the cute dog stamp I acquired a couple of years ago. Too often I get caught up with using my newer supplies. Oldies, but goodies rock!
