Butterfly Brilliance With Butterfly Bijou
I CASEd Lori Pinto's card and added my own twist to it.
Sometimes all it takes to make a card is pretty paper. This simple card focuses on Hydrangea Hill paper with a sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set. It is easy to create and a good card for a beginner.
This Florida gal loves everything tropical so when I saw a similar card by Adriana, I knew I needed to make it.
Have you ever made a card that was technically correct and well balanced, but it just didn't "wow" you? I feel that way about this card.
I thought long and hard about what to create for this week's Paper Players' challenge. Ideas abounded, yet none seemed quite right. Then, as I was lamenting the discontinuation of the Boho Indigo Medley, I reached for the parts I have left, and it came to me. This card is the result.
The paper coordinates so well with the stamp set that it is my favorite this spring.
This card was inspired by one Mary Fish made. You can see it here along with the instructions for making the card. I used a different color scheme and different patterned paper. https://stampinpretty.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Be-a-Unicorn-with-Hippo-Happiness-PDF-Tutorial.pdf
