F ree As A Bird meets Flowers For Every Season.
|
|
Create a card base using Whisper White cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored at 4 1/4".
Cut a piece of Bumblebee cardstock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".
Layer a piece of Flowers For Every Season patterned paper cut at 4" x 5 1/4" onto the Bumblebee piece, and add to the card base front.
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 5" x 2".
Stamp the bird and the "Hello" sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Color with Blends markers or other coloring tool in colors you prefer. I used these colors:
-Calypso Coral (flowers)
-Soft Suede (tree branch)
-Old Olive (leaves)
-Daffodil Delight (birds)
I chose yellow for the birds to coordinate with the floral paper.
Cut a piece of Bumblebee cardstock at 2 1/4" x 5".
Adhere the finished bird piece to the Bumblebee piece.
Then, using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder, run this finished piece through the die cutting/embossing machine.
Layer the die cut piece across the card front at an angle.
Use scissors to remove the excess hanging over the sides.
To the inside of the card add a strip of patterned paper at the bottom.
Use one of the measurements:
-4 1/4" x 1/2"
-4 1/4" x 3/4"
-4 1/4" x 1"
Note this is a good way use use up scraps of patterned paper.
