I believe both silver and gold can be used judiciously to add interest to a project. Here the silver trim sets off the sentiment from the embossed part of the card. After I completed the project, I decided the sentiment is too large, but I cannot remove it without destroying the card.
Supplies needed:
Project Recipe:

Create a Basic White Thick card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and emboss the lower part as shown in the photograph.
Wrap silver trim around it and secure on the back.

Add Washi Tape to Basic White cardstock and die cut.
Use the die cut pieces to add a focal point for the card. Adhere some of the pieces flat and others on dimensionals.
Add the piece to the card front.
Finish the card with a sentiment.
