A die cut front piece backed by patterned paper overlaid with vellum create soft palette for this card front.
This card was designed for participation in the Paper Players' competition this week. I grew up on the Gulf of Mexico and often sat on a seawall watching seahorses frolic. I still love all things related to the sea.
A layer of vellum mutes the bold patterned paper. Stampin' Write Markers add color directly to the stamp to create a dual color image.
As one who loves to travel, this was the first Stampin' Up! suite I ordered from the June 2020 catalog release. Now that I have been in quarantine for four months, memories of my travels must sustain me for now.
Cheerful sunflowers will brighten anyone's day. Quarantined inside my home for four months has reminded me how much I have for which to be grateful. I made this card because sunflowers are cheerful and expressing gratitude is always important.
The road into my neighborhood is called Tall Oaks Drive and for many reasons. There are dozens and dozens of huge oak trees, many more than 100 years old. My own property is filled with huge trees, which I love. So, it is no wonder one of my favorite stamp sets is Rooted in Nature. And while it is still summer, autumn will arrive before we know it and all the leaves will come tumbling down.
